Our Partners

In 2020 the Green Fund Execution Unit partnered with the Cashew Gardens Community Recycling program and provided financial support for the recycling model to be implemented in eight other communities in central Trinidad.

The AARP works closely with the Cashew Gardens Recycling Program and has provided training and technical support for the Water Quality Testers. These Testers draw water samples from the Caparo River on a monthly basis. The water is tested and the data collected from these samples are sent to WASA for further analysis.

The iCare National Recycling Programme gives full support to the Cashew Gardens initiative and therefore works very closely with us to strengthen our efforts towards this common cause.

SWMCOL supports CGCRP by accepting all of the recyclable material that is collected in the community.  This partnership ensures that the recyclables are sent to a preferred facility and does not end up in the landfill.

CTTRC and CGCRP is a very vital service as they are responsible for the waste collection in the community. Constant dialogue ensures that the waste collectors are aware of the bins that are placed in the community for recyclable material and ensures that they are not emptied with the regular trash.
